Rafting

Blogspot is very annoying at times. I wrote a complete big paragraph about this post of mine and when I was publishing the same, all my content were washed off. It does not have a proper drafting mechanism. yikes... I don’t remember what all I wrote just 10 minutes ago.
I was writing about the rafting trip with fidelity friends. The trip started with overnight journey to Byasi, a village near Rishikesh. The final venue was still a kilometer down the hill, invlolved a tiring tracking down to the river bank. The River was flowing surrounded by mountains. The non stop echo of the water splash on the rocks formed an ambience very different and soothing than the noisy city. It was an exhilarating transition from the whirls of work to the whirls of Ganges. The best part of the trip was the rafting through the high waves and deep turbulent rapids; few of the rapids were located in the area with not many rocks, which allowed us to do body surfing on the wavy bed in the lap of Ganga Maiya. Though the water was chilled enough to cause shivers still it was just a short lived fear of cold and churning waves. We stayed there for 2 nights and 2 days. Evenings were busy playing volleyball on the river beach. had a nice trip and came to know there is still lot more for me to visit in north india.

When Opal Mehta Could not Get a Life'

Weather it was intentional or not, Kavya (click for news ) should be appreciated for her work. Certainly she has put tremendous effort to make her work live and acclaim it a Best seller. As she explained she is a fan of McCafferty and read most of her books. It can be a mere happenstance that the lines are identical to the McCafferty's work. More over the identical looking lines are part of a para which gives entirely different notion in the sequence of the written text.

Here is an exerpt of the work which is identical

McCafferty's book, page 6: "Sabrina was the brainy Angel. Yet another example of how every girl had to be one or the other: Pretty or smart."
Viswanathan's novel, page 39: "Moneypenny was the brainy female character. Yet another example of how every girl had to be one or the other: smart or pretty."

More probable reason of why McCafferty taking it so seriously is because she is being green-eyed from the success of a child prodigy. dont worry kavya ...it worked well for you... you are now known all over the world. people know more about you rather than about McC...
TO KAVYA ...
Come out with another version of opal mehta , leave the old allegations beside!
Dont bother about the Rivals because Neighbour's envy owner's pride !!

But... Keep your butt away..

It was all going fine till the co-passenger from the other side of the aisle, pressed the call bell to get some assistance from the cabin crew. The well mannered ravishing air hostess came to listen to her valued customer to find out how can she help him. This fellow flyer has some big problem and needed a proper attention of the cabin crew. The air hostess was listening very carefully to this man there.. due to some harsh sound of the aircraft probably she wasn’t able to hear the customer clearly and bent down toward his face and unfortunately during this natural action she has to bulge out her hips towards me…. this was taking a long time to explain and I was feeling uneasy… really… I was trying to find out why is that happening to me ? asked half a dozen questions to myself about what kinda reaction I do have for this… and later I realized that I’ve got this new kinda disease which I named Fartophobia… the fear of fart … is it funny ?? Not really.... It happens to many of us..… I tried searching any such thing over the internet... nothins was existing so thought of publishing this weirdest post on my blog :)

  • Causes of fartophobia : research is on, to find more causes.
  • Solutions of fartophobia: keep distance for the time being.... more remedies will be in market soon.

Rang de Basanti

There are very few movies which are such well drafted and makes you think and
hit you deep inside your heart. It is a story about the youth of India that nevertheless
they are intellectuals and smart enough to take on the leadership and convert it
into a beautiful country but they are missing passion and enthusiasm among them.
Their thoughts have been very well addressed that they cannot relate themselves for
sacrificing and dieing for the country. They are aimless and disheartened and are of the view
that it will keep on happening like this and nobody can change it. To them issues
like patriotism and giving one's life for one's beliefs is the stuff written in the books. They
would rather prefer partying than are nationalist. But they need to wake up from
the sleeping soul, act responsibly and become one in spirit and engrave the
roots of bureaucracy and corruption. The movie gives the message to youths
to come forward and act wisely rather than just cribbing. The thought provoking
ideas have been very well fitted i.e. "No country is perfect…it needs to be made perfect"
and it demands youth to act and not just remain mere onlookers.

Definitely, there could be better ways to act rather than taken by the actors in the story.
The alternatives are always available but we just need to focus on our aim and explore
for the possibilties. We need not to have more jolts or any other resisting force.. the movie
itself is a call to the generation to take up the challenge for the betterment of the country.
The need of the hour is that we must serve the world we live in!!

Incredible India

Sometime in our one of the fastest growing economy, the novel ideas are not respected… they biggest hindrance is the wall of supposed culture and traditions. Unfortunately, In my country, the law and order are considered to be least important regulations. Every driver thinks at least once to jump the traffic signal, every policeman conceives himself to be the owner of the constitution. A Group of Living people Bajrang dal ( Don't forget to click on the wikilink to see the screening of the activities of the group) claims that the constitution does not reflect Indian culture, it exists with a tremendous influence of British invasion and we will not follow it in any circumstances. ( stated in support of the Meerut operation majnoo) Probably what reflects our culture according to them is that “one has to show that he is a happy married human being even when he/she has no intimacy with his/her partner and forced to relish the relation because he/she is married to this human creature(partner).

I am living in a county where movies like Yuva and Swades fall loosely on the box office, and aren’t appraised as they deserve. These movies reflect the image of contemporary India and should be followed closely to make the mainland, presentable to the rest of the world.

The difference between having a developed or developing country status comes not only from the basic and financial statistics of the country also it comprises a large proportion of developed minds, where we are lacking to a large extent. It looks really mesmerizing from outside when talk about the Indian development, second fastest growing economy, availability of talent pool. But that still covers up only a small percentage of the population. I agree to the fact that the cultural shift can be the slowest possible process but we really need to identify what’s wrong in our traditions and how long will the tug of war last between the traditional and modern thoughts?

Yahoo vs Google

Yahoo gets the better of google in searching. Now you can also search non business blogs from yahoo, which is not yet available in the google.
Try seaching for "Animated Whispers" in yahoo... the first result is my proud blog :))
Shouldn't I agree that yahoo is better than google... ;)
happy blogging...now you can be found in Yahooooo !!

Long long time ago

Apologies for appearing here after aeons. More than a month ago when I was a bit regular with blogging, wanted to keep it the same way.. at least one post every week. Remembering the news program of Indian Channel AAJ TAK called "HO NA SAKA" they can cast something like

Ajay every week blog post kar sakta...
Use ek mahine main thoda sa bhee time mil pata..
Aapnee thoughts vo logo se share kar sakta...
Ek aur nayee kitab ka review vo likh pata...

ESA.... HO NA SAKA !!

However I did a lots of things in last month which can take a loads of space on this page, only if I remember them to write :-(
Weekends are being so very hectic in parties, meetups and movies... also went to try Garba during navratra.. dances till my feet started hurting. was fun.

Gathered some courage to read another big book "
Catch-22", heard a lot about this.. one of the best book on the last century, somehow it didn't interest me much till the first 50 pages. So had to leave in middle(in start infact)
Now trying to read the "
Day of the Jackal" . just finished 60 pages.. it is interesting book but whenever I try to read it... dozzzzzzze off... I think I can finish just one huge book in an year :)
no worries... try try ...but never cry :-)

Da Vinci Code

13-3-2-21-1-1-8-5
O , Draconian devil
Oh, lame saint
you may not find the above code so interesting, cause its written in my blog :-) trust me you will start cracking it once u start reading the Da Vinci Code. One of the best books I've ever read. I'm very lazy in reading. I start many books but seldom complete them.. The whole 600 pages of this book will never let u leave it in the middle.
Few of the very known and famous symbols( like Pentacle) and events are explained in such an awesome way to catch hold of reader's attention. The galleries of Louvre museum are so well depicted in words that you cant stop yourself WOWing.
After completing it I think I want to visit the following places
  • The Louvre Museum :)) I'll be happy to have one more visit to Paris
  • Templar's church- will see anytime.. just 3 mins walk from my office in central london
  • Milan- to see the last supper - missed the visit to Venice and Milan in my Italy trip, will try to see this artwork if get a chance to go there again in future.
  • Edinburgh the last known dwelling of the holy grail in Rosslyne chapel, as per Dan Brown

The worst part of the book is that the suspense of the story still remains hidden as the book ends. probl'y Dan Brown wants to publish sequel to this one ( may be a flop show, happens with most sequels.)

Since i finished this book a month ago, Cant really remember most of the stories and secrets hidden in the paintings of "Leonardo, son of ser Piero, from Vinci(a place in italy)"

The Rising

I was eagerly waiting for this movie. Infact long ago i was thinking that "The Rising" and "Mangal Pandey" are two different movies Amir khan working on... might be like Lagaan and DCH.. Anywyas finally watched it in one piece :) No doubt to the excellence in Amir khan's work.. Splendid!! Did not quite understand the role of the female stars with their incomplete stories as fillers.

You may or may not like the movie depend on the expectations. If you think this movie can be another nomination for Oscar then I think you wud be disappointed. During the show at one fine place we suspected if this movie will get some filmfares at least. But in the end I liked it somehow... infact a good ignition to your patriotism.
My sincere wishes are with this film makers, I am glad to know that they also understand the fact that "INDIA IS RISING, AND NO ONE CAN STOP IT"
Go watch the movie and shout with Mangal... "Halla Bol.."

RedBull AirRace

A busy Sunday started early at 8AM. Got the coach with friends to longleat. After an hour on the motorway the bus headed towards the beautiful countryside. On the right, fields were all covered with the shiny green grass. The natural curves of the ground were reflecting the rays to give a real windows XP bliss wallpaper image. Shot it... Three hour journey didn't really seem that long, The air race started at 2:30 PM and lasted for 2 hours. RedBull airrace is also known as Formula one in the air ( not many people admit it though:-). there were 800,000 people who tried to get the tickets of the event over the web or in some other ways.. but only few (around 70,000) were able to get. Thanks to Diamond(his name can make u think..Its just his name) , who booked the coach well in advance. It was a real stunt men show.. I liked the vertical roll and knife edge crossing.have a look at more pics of the event here

The way back home was a tired one with a severe jam on the way.... took us 5 hours to reach back home. The sun was peeking from a virtual aperture apparently formed by a pair of stones among the dozen belong to Stonehenge. The soothing "Good evening" wish.

i-Robot

Doc: hey dude what happened..
Dude: well doc… I m not feeling well.. There is some problem … feeling lethargic while sleeping….. Can’t see in dark… dreaming about Monday mornings…my code always works without errors… … blah blah and etcetera..

Doc : Sound strange ..might be a severe damage in the grey matter …I need to diagnose a bit deeply (Heaves a deep sigh )…about it…

Dude: yes doc..please!!
Doc: ok.. please open your mouth wide…. Yes.. little more please…
Excellent… now I will sit on your tongue and all u need to do is to swallow me … I will go inside your body and check the problem
Horrified Dude … looks aghast …

Ok ok stop imagining the doctor in your body….but trust me its not a joke… Cause that’s going to be true with nanotechnology…
A miniature robot can be injected/ swallowed in body to diagnose and kill the harmful cells and heal the malady.
Surprising. Isn’t it? Got to know about this tech from Metro this morning.
Read more about it from the Institute of Nanotechnology

London United

He was stunned... A vigorous blow and it was dark around, a short span of
blindness. A complete absence of light... Couldn't even get time think what's
happening? The moment he realized the attack, he could only see the
dead bodies around with limbs apart from them. Something like this happened with the people who were present at the London Bombing sites.
fortunately I was four stations away from the spot at the time of attack and our train was stopped and evacuated followed by the suspension of the London underground for the day of July the 7th. City has changed as never before since then. Everybody seems to be in dread of possible evil. I have never seen this city quite in last one year but today..Seems like the pace of The City lulled for a moment, commuters look at everybody else suspiciously. Hope to get things under control soon and arrest those responsible for the disruption in the normal life. Londoner are united to face the physical and emotional wounds and making everything run smoothly even in such a sensitive situation.

For those who love their Boss

Manu sent me this joke this morning
A guy phones up his Boss, but gets the bosses' wife instead. "I'm afraid
he died last week." she explains. The next day the man calls again and asks for the boss. "I told you" the wife replies, "he died last week.";The next day he calls again and once more asks to Speak to his boss. By this time the wife is getting upset and shouts, "I'VE ALREADY TOLD YOU
TWICE, MY HUSBAND, YOUR BOSS, DIED LAST WEEK! WHY DO YOU KEEP CALLING?"
Coz," he replied laughing, "I just love hearing it

Paraskavedekatriaphobia

I am sure you are trying to find the meaning of the heading of this post.. Aren't you? Even if you know it, how does it relate to my life? Still remains a "?" mark for you .. Isn't it?
I tell you. Hope you read my blog regularly.. If you do, then you must have had a glance at the previous post about the fear of number 13. This post is a sequel to that.
My last contract with AOL was suddenly ended on 13th May. Noticeable is that It was Friday on 13th May 2005, and the fear of FRIDAY the 13th is called Paraskavedekatriaphobia I am not really distracted from such facts but this seems very interesting to me, as something unwanted happened on the day.
This superstition is not new, its been existing for eons. Its believed that there were 13 people in the last supper with Jesus who was later crucified on Good Friday. Another fact is that the number 13 was omitted from the number list hundreds of year BC, means the superstition existed long before the Christian era.
Some building don't even have the 13th floor ( I know one exception, Bangalore's famous Persian restaurant "Ebony" and a pub "13th Floor" are on thirteenth floor and both are my favorite places)

Lorem Ipsum

Hi there... m back after a long time. Just came to know about Loren Ipsum. do u know what does it mean ?? eh..u do? thats great !! but welll those who dont know the meaning of it just read through..
Lorem Ipsum:is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.
The Origin: Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old.
Why sould we use it: It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text

Triskaidekaphobia

This Post is coming soon :))

And here it goes... I was never so superstitious since my contract was ended before time, It was for three months with AOL initially, and later got extended with some more requirements in line for another 3 months.. But the project was completed before time in the start of the 5th month. And ofcourse that was because I was able to work faster then the expectations ;) so could complete in advance.
But all this happened on 13th. Number 13... A very irrationally frightening number.
More about the same ...later... cheers lemme find another job .ciao!!

Tower of London

First found in the Godavari River in central India 4000 years ago, now listed in world's most precious diamonds. Traditional belief about the diamond was the owner will rule the world provided its a female. the diamond does not favour male owner. the history about it starts from Malva and when Babar invaded India, this stone fell into his hands. Later in 1739 Nader shah from Iran invaded Mughals and all their treasures. when Nader saw the Gem first time he exclaimed Koh-i-noor, meaning Mountain of light... and the gem got the name.Later Ranjeet singh the lion of Punjab took the stone and then it was given to East India company and subsequently presented to Queen Victoria of Britain. The gem is now in the queens crown which is worn only on coronation ceremonies. The crown is in display at the Tower of London Museum Kohinoor was the main attraction and the focus of the day on may 1st bank holiday. went to visit the museum with manish, a place Worth visiting.

long time no c

After two months I am back to England again. But these two months went so fast I cud never realize. I went home on 17th November and stayed there for 17 days and left to Bangalore… Met new people in Bangalore and made some new contacts as well. Enjoyed the time in Bangalore and yes the most important.. I was selected as the Bangalore Times Model of the week from Times of India, And my photograph was published in the Times of India as well.. first time ever in my life …was a very good feeling indeed. I messaged all my friends and told hey .. turn this page in the Bangalore times today and see my pic.. wow I was so happy ..
I had also submitted my resignation in the big blue. To be very honest this was a very difficult decision I’ve ever taken. I was in thoughts for almost two days after writing the resignation letter. Finally I gathered the courage to submit it in 24th November and I was on the notice period for a month time. Thought I had nothing to do for a month but I still dint so anything ..dint even bothered to blog. And now finding it difficult to include those two months in one blog post.. well let me write the things as and when they come into my mind.
Currently living with ravi with his family in London. Going to start with a new company here. This is my first change since I started my career with the IBM five years ago.
